I work predominantly in sketchbooks using pen and ink, drawing landscapes which are mostly devoid of people—while in contrast when travelling, also capturing commuters and bystanders who are more often than not looking at their phones, oblivious to me studying them.

The unforgiving nature of the brush pen means my work is immediate, bold and loose—a moment caught with no opportunity for reworks.

The original artwork available on this site is taken from sketchbooks of varying sizes from 90x140mm upwards and is unframed.
